America’s Got Talent 2010 Premiere Date Set

America’s Got Talent 2010 will premiere its fifth season on June 1 at 8/7c. Then, America’s Got Talent 2010 will move to Wednesdays on June 2 at 9/8c. The Hoff has left his AGT judges seat and was replaced by new judge Howie Mandel, who joins Sharon Osbourne, Piers Morgan. Nick Cannon will still be the host of America’s Got Talent 2010.

After seeing all the talented people who have auditioned for AGT 2010, I’m really excited for this season. I always forget that the show doesn’t start until summer. I guess with all the talk on this site about the America’s Got Talent 2010 auditions, I feel like the show should be just around the corner.

Next Terry Fator on America’s Got Talent

Ok, that was quite a stretch. From this short video, it’s a joke to compare his talent with Terry Fator’s talent. I’ve seen Terry’s live show and have his DVD and Terry is a fantastic entertainer with an absolutely incredible talent. If you have only seen Terry on America’s Got Talent, then you have no idea how good he really is. With that said, this is a great little video of the America’s Got Talent Auditions. I don’t know who this person is, but I’m glad they shared this video with us. I have no doubt that it will be taken down once the AGT producers see it and wouldn’t be surprised if Ted Harris is disqualified from the show if they see it as well. Although, I must admit that with the proliferation of cell phone cameras and video, I’m surprised that video like this hasn’t turned up sooner. Check it out before it’s gone:

Interesting look at the makings of AGT if I do say so myself.

America’s Got Talent Audition City Updates

Thanks to reader Mr. Lucky, here’s a list of the updates posted on the official AGT website:

The Chicago Audition states the following:
“We have started calling some acts with good news, but are still evaluating others. All decisions will be made by mid-April.”

The New York page says this:
“Some acts have already been called with good news, but auditions are still being evalulated. All decisions will be made by mid-April.”

Philidelphia says:
“We have begun making some “good new” calls, but many acts are still being evalulated. All decisions will be made by Mid-April.”

Los Angeles:
“Auditions are still being evalulated, but some good news calls have already gone out. However all decisions could take as late as mid-April 2010”

Also, the AGT producers stopped by the site and left the following answers to people’s AGT questions:

brigitte asked if you auditioned once this season, can you audition again this year? Yes — you can audition as much as you want whenever and where every you want. You can even send in a video if you auditioned in a city.

To answer multiple questions about the “call backs.”
As it says on AGTauditions.com, will will make all decisions on who makes it to the next round by mid-April 2010.  We only call and email acts that are moving on to the next round…sorry we cannot call everybody.

Some calls have already gone out. The reason why we say mid-April is just because, for example even if you auditioned in NYC, if NYC is fully booked, the produers may bring you to another city to see the judges. Please see our FAQ for answers to other questions.

Questions for AGT Producers

For those of you who don’t know, this is just an America’s Got Talent fan site. We don’t represent America’s Got Talent, NBC, Fremantle Media or anyone with the show. We’re just passionate fans talking about Summer’s #1 show. That said, a number of AGT producers have found this site and even answered some questions in the comments before. They’ve said I could reach out to them if people have any questions.

On that note, this is going to be a thread open for questions. Please ONLY post your questions for the producers. I’ll take and compile the questions and see if we can get some answers from the AGT producers. I can’t promise they’ll respond, but I think they will. Also, I’ll filter out any questions that are likely too specific to a person like “Did I make it to the celebrity auditions?”

One of our readers posted these questions in a previous thread, so here’s some questions to get this thing started:
1. What if you make it past the producer audition, where do you (you in general) go and date would be the next audition? (the judge audition)
2. If you make it past the judges, when do you go to Vegas?
3. If you make it past Vegas, when and where do you go? What dates?
4. Are tutors provided for kids under 18 and at who’s cost?
5. Because I am a student, for planning purposes, I would need to know what dates are all the auditions and shows at each stage.

Let’s hear what questions you have for the AGT producers.

Best Magician Ever on America’s Got Talent

I’m sure that there are a lot of magicians that are preparing to audition for America’s Got Talent 2010. The show has had some decent tricks over the year. For some reason the magicians always seem to do their best trick first and then in one of the other rounds they just don’t do as good of a trick and get sent home.

Regardless, if you’re a magician interested in auditioning for America’s Got Talent, then you have to watch this illusion. It’s by far the best illusion, magic trick, whatever you want to call it that’s ever graced the America’s Got Talent stage. Check it out:

That’s a pretty high bar for magicians auditioning on America’s Got Talent 2010. I hope we get to see this high of a quality of magic again.

America’s Got Talent Season 5 Auditions (AGT 2010)

A notice was posted to the official AGT audition website about the America’s Got Talent Season 5 auditions being over. I meant to post this when I first saw it, but I’ve been a little bit busy lately. However, I felt it only right to post it since I’d posted so much information about America’s Got Talent auditions.

The cool part is that the official America’s Got Talent audition website also has this posted:

Auditions for Season 4 of America’s Got Talent are now over. All the acts have been notified.

The show will premiere on JUNE 23 9/8C ON NBC.

Online pre-registration for season 5 (which will air in 2010) will start June 15, 2009. Check back for details.

I’m certain this will be bad news for those who auditioned for America’s Got Talent season 4 and never heard back from the show. However, it’s great news for those interested in participating in the America’s Got Talent season 5 auditions. Yes, that’s America’s Got Talent 2010. Seems like it’s a long ways away, but it will go faster than we think.

Anyway, best of luck to those that will be on America’s Got Talent season 4 on June 23, 2009 and even more luck to those who brave the crowds to audition for America’s Got Talent 2010.
