Casey Cattie America’s Got Talent 2011 Audition

One of my favorite parts of Pure America’s Got Talent is seeing all the really amazing talent before they make it on America’s Got Talent. The biggest act we’ve featured on this site before they were on America’s Got Talent has got to be Jackie Evancho. Although, there’s been quite a few others as well.

One of the disappointing parts of it is seeing some really amazing talent that auditions for America’s Got Talent and hasn’t made it on the show (hopefully yet). I believe Jackie Evancho (really her mother) came to this site a season or two before she made it on the show as well.

I just recently got an email updating me on someone who I think is a great singer and could do very well on America’s Got Talent 2011. Her name is Casey Cattie and no doubt she competes in probably the most difficult category of all on America’s Got Talent: female singers. The good part is that they always like to cast a couple beautiful female singers and so I think Casey Cattie has a great chance of filling that part of the America’s Got Talent 2011 casting.

We first posted about Casey Cattie in 2009 (videos have been made private) and then followed up with this video of Casey Cattie in 2010. Now, here’s Casey Cattie’s 2011 America’s Got Talent audition video:

Certainly her voice is really improving, but the most striking thing for me is seeing how much more grown up she looks in that video compared to when I first saw her. Part of it makes me feel like I’m getting old, but mostly I’m excited to see Casey still pursuing her dream. Sometimes when she went after the big high notes if felt a bit like screaming, but that could possibly have been the recording and the microphone. Hard to say. She looks really comfortable on stage and I hope that America’s Got Talent gives her a chance this season. Otherwise, maybe she could also try out for $5 million on Simon Cowell’s new show: X Factor.
