Donald Braswell and Eli Mattson to Perform at Carnegie Hall with Tim Janis

You might remember that we posted about Jackie Evancho choosing NOT to sing at Carnegie Hall with Tim Janis. Well, I just found out today that America’s Got Talent will still have two representatives from the show at Carnegie Hall to perform on the Tim Janis Christmas Special on December 2nd. It’s not Jackie, but Donald Braswell and Eli Mattson.

Congrats Donald and Eli and best of luck!

Here’s the full details of the performance:
Little Sisters of the Poor – Thursday December 2nd
Carnegie Hall, Stern Auditorium/Perelman Stage
The Tim Janis Singers – 200 voices – and the 94 piece Tim Janis Youth Symphony Orchestra
400 musicians in this concert with special guests Donald Braswell, Sarah Darling, Emily Bear, Eli Mattson, Jim Cole, Chandler and Ryan Lutz
Tickets on sale at the Carnegie Hall Box Office October 2, 2010

The Water Man on Germany’s Got Talent

While we mostly cover America’s Got Talent on this site, it’s always fun to see some of the best talent that’s being done on other nations version of America’s Got Talent. Here’s an example of that talent on Germany’s Got Talent: The Water Man!

It’s a little slow to get going and only slightly impressive, but then I just had to say, WHAT?

Will we see anything this crazy on America’s Got Talent 2011?

More America’s Got Talent Season 6 Audition Cities and Dates

I’m sorry I haven’t been keeping up with all the auditions happening this year. Although, it’s looking like America’s Got Talent is going to be as big this year as it was last year.

Yesterday, I posted about the America’s Got Talent season 6 Chicago auditions. However, they’ve announced the dates of auditions for a few more cities on the official America’s Got Talent audition website and I never wrote about them here.

America’s Got Talent Season 6 Audition Cities
New York City – November 14 and 15
Atlanta – January 29 and 30
Houston – February 12 and 13
Seattle and Tacoma – February 19 and 20

I have a feeling they may still add a city or two more. Probably depends on how much talent they’re finding in their current cities. We shall see.

As always, if you’re auditioning for America’s Got Talent season 6, we’d love to hear about your experience.

America’s Got Talent 2011 Chicago Auditions

This weekend, November 6th and 7th, is the auditions for America’s Got Talent season 6 in Chicago. That’s right, if you’re in Chicago you’ll get the chance to audition for the America’s Got Talent 2011 season. The Chicago AGT Auditions are being held at McCormick Place. You can read all the details, fill out the pre-registration form and see the FAQ on the official AGT audition page.

One of the Pure America’s Got Talent readers is planning to audition at the America’s Got Talent Chicago auditions and she even made a couple videos talking about it. I couldn’t help but laugh at these videos. Plus, who doesn’t like a girl with an accent?

Here’s a second one she made. I’m not sure why the Santa hat and she can’t really be planning to wear it and a bracelet with bells on it can she? Remember that this is a show that airs during the summer. It’s just taped around Christmas. Anyway, be entertained (or annoyed) by Tabitha’s second video:

If any of you have or want to make a video of you going to the auditions, after the auditions or performing your talent you’ll be showing at the auditions, I’d love to see it. Just send me a link to the video on the Pure AGT contact us page.
