Fighting Gravity was pure genius last night! But I’ve been searching high and low to figure out what song they performed to…Marianya, are you able to work your magic on this one? 🙂
Courtney – Ask and you shall receive!
Song: Drive it Like You Stole It
Artist: The Glitch Mob
Oh… and there’s a Japanese version that’s been on the Internet for a while: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8Hm1RWmN9oU
Marianya, you rock 😀 I dunno how you do it, but there isn’t a single song that escapes you! Keep up the awesome work 🙂
Courtney – I just know how to use the internet 😀 If I don’t have it, someone, someplace does… it’s just a matter of finding it….
I’m not perfect >.< I'm still looking for that one song that Edward Spots danced to on SYTYCD for auditions.
Marianya! What is the song played that goes along the lines of the lines of “All the girls and the boys go wild.” Or something similar to that.
This was probably the best episode since the start of the season.
Fighting Gravity was great.
Also loved the fire guy.
Prince Poppycock was entertaining, I’d see him in Vegas, but please don’t call him “opera singer”. Singing an aria with a microphone doesn’t make one an opera singer, only performing a role in a real opera does. In any respectable opera theater he’d be booed, but as a Vegas act he’ll be a lot of fun. I think he’d do great on Broadway too.
I honestly don’t think I’d have put Prince Poppycock through to vegas. The singing was horrible and even the walking around/waving arms was awkward too. The only thing that of his that was vegas worthy was his costume. That deserved to go to Vegas.

Actually I agree about his singing – John, you really do understand operatic singing even if you say you don’t like it (hope you had a chance to see Met Carmen on PBS, the production was great and stars sang well, acted well, and looked hot), but I was trying to be nice…
As to Prince Poppycock, he was entertaining in a trainwreck sort of way. Hey, Florence Foster Jenkins’ Carnegie Hall performance was sold out as so many people wanted a good laugh.
[…] Day Two of NYC Auditions… Let’s see if Day Two can triumph Day One… […]
Does anyone know the song from the beginning of the episode? It was like orchestra music / violins, idk…
Help please?
I WISH THE JUDGES WOULD SEE MY VIDEO ON YOU TUBE.-THE SHADOW OF YOUR SMIL’S -I HOPE YOU ENJOY THIS,IT WAS FOR YOU!THANK YOU TONY RUSSO
How can we see the acts that did the show, on stage, facing the Judges, but didn’t make the TV program on the NYC shows? I know for a fact that some of these acts were great, not only were they wonderful and entertaining, but were dismissed by the judges as not good enough, even though they didn’t get X X X. Some of these acts were very talented people who got the boot while bad acts, went through to Vegas, I think stinks. I understand that you need to your ratings, but why not stay true to the name of the show… America’s Got Talent, not the New Gong Show. Less joke acts like the pizza eater, and more non talent getting through to Vegas. Stop the “I never saw that before” statement. That dosen’t make it talent. It’s frustrating to me.

I really liked fighting Gravity, I just hope they have more cool acts like they did!
