Nuttin’ But Stringz Already Professional Too
I figured it was only fair for me to call out Nuttin’ But Stringz for being professional since I did the same to Donald Braswell. I’m certain that all the Nuttin’ But Stringz fans will be coming for a visit real soon to let me know how wrong I am, but when I learn that someone has already been highly successful it takes a little bit of the luster away from them.
To Nuttin’ But Stringz’s credit, the show never has portrayed them as amateurs. However, they are definitely professionals in their art. Have they made it huge yet, no. Although, here’s a few excerpts from the official Nuttin’ But Stringz website that gives you some background on some of the things they’ve done:
Tourie and Damien, studied at the Juliard School of Music and Bloomingdale School of Music and have taken their mastered skill to startling heights to include the world famous Apollo Theatre, Jay Leno Show, and Ellen Show just to name a few.
Also, Nuttin’ But Stringz’s “Stuggle from the Subway to the Charts” debuted at #3 on Japan’s Billboard Charts. Sounds like a lot of success to me.
All of this said, I don’t have any problem with Nuttin’ But Stringz wins America’s Got Talent. They absolutely have talent, but let’s not hear about an underdog story.

Watch for a lot more information about Nuttin’ But Stringz to be posted shortly.
We need to make u aware that Donald Braswell was never presented as untrained. He himself said he was a professional before his accident n this was the first time on a professional stage since his accident when he lost his speaking and singing voice. Eleven years of coming back from being told he would never speak or sing again should be a sufficient number to allow him into the talent competion . He never misrepresented himself. NBC may have made that assertion. june
June,
Then, please explain how he was on stage with the Three Tenors group in San Antonio before the competition began and after his surgery?
Like I said in the other post linked above, it’s not a reason to disqualify him and it’s not a reason that he shouldn’t win the competition. However, it is a reason for people to stop acting like he’s the underdog and this is his only chance of having a break in life. Point being that he seems like he’s done pretty well with his singing career even before America’s Got Talent.
The same applies for Nuttin’ But Stringz, The Wright Kids (who performed all over), and Donald Braswell. If I find out about anymore I’ll let you know.
I should also point out that professionals are allowed on America’s Got Talent. You might remember the infamous quick change couple on the first year of America’s Got Talent. I had actually seen them perform live in Las Vegas on the stage at Circus Circus. Certainly professionals and welcome to participate. Just not welcome to be considered underdogs (which of course america loves).
