America’s Got Talent 5: The Wildcard Show

Written by:

The upcoming episode is the WildCard show. Meaning anyone that the judges/producers believe deserve a second chance will get that second chance. In the matter of this season (as far as I know) I mean anyone…

There are a handful of acts that were rejected in Vegas who will get their chance to shine in Hollywood. The majority of the acts are those that had their chance in Hollywood, but in the end were not voted through for one reason or another.

One thing of note is that the only “singer” in the group is the youth rapper. Otherwise most everyone else is a non-vocalist, which is probably a good thing because there are already nine acts that sing that got through.

So providing that there are already 20 semi-finalists, if they choose another four from this crew then that would make it 24 semi-finalists total. That would be 24 acts out of 64 acts that performed in Hollywood as semi-finalists.

So out of all the wild-card acts (there’s no limit to the number of acts you’re looking foward to seeing on stage)…

America’s Got Talent 5: Las Vegas (Part 2)

Written by:

So here it… who knows how many acts were in the ever so important Group A category as mentioned in the previous Las Vegas post. These acts were ones that the judges believed stand the best chance of moving on to Hollywood… every one of these acts were given the chance to audition once again for the judges.

In the primary lobby there were sheets set up in various categories breaking the acts down so they could practice together, and size up the competition. From here each group would be called up together where they would see each other perform from the wings. Talk about tension and competition.

I’ve managed to get a good list of categories and acts. So below is going to be all the acts that have gone on to Hollywood as broken down by category. I will try to list the audition city that we met various acts throughout the season thus far if applicable and link previous posts to them so you could learn more informtion about the acts that have made it thus far.

Watch America’s Got Talent Season 5 Episode 2 Online

Written by:

I was going to post the list of clips for America’s Got Talent 2010 and then I realized that I could just post the entire episode for those that might have missed it. I’ll put a few comments about the acts in this episode at the bottom. Make sure you also check out Marianya’s post listing all the AGT Dallas acts and links to their online presence.

ArcAttack – Those coils are freakin awesome. I remember when my physics teacher had a small one. What fun!

Muttley Crew – Not the best dog act they’ve had on the show. Popovich’s one was better.

Taylor Matthews – The token talent that came in off the street (there might be a few others). This kid was good. His voice was great and with the right song he’ll do really well. Let’s hope that the AGT producers don’t screw him over with the wrong song.

CJ Dippa – This kid is hilarious. He’s got the groove. I can see him for sure making it to LA auditions. We’ll see whether America will vote for him.
