America’s Got Talent Semifinals Part 2
In case you haven’t been keeping track, here’s a look at the final 12 acts remaining in the AGT 2011 semifinals:

Summerwind Skippers, Jump Rope Acrobatic Troupe
This seems like an easier semifinals than the other one. I’m interested to hear your thoughts on this semi finals. Who’s guaranteed to go through, who’s on the edge and who has no chance of making it to the finals?
I really think this night will be too hard to pre-judge. So many of the acts that should go through all have the potential to mess up to a point they wont get that nights votes.

Landau is at the top for me. BTW – I am not sure why he is classified as classical singer. I think he is a fabulous singer, but so far he’s not sung any classical music. Classic isn’t the same as classical… This isn’t a negative, just a statement on genre.
I like Kinetic king, he is diffedrent.
Not sure about others, need to see them again.
Locks to go through, unless they just plain suck on Tuesday:

Near-Lock:
Silhouettes (I think they are almost certain to go through, but if another act pulls of a surprisingly good performance and theirs is not quite as good as before they might get knocked back a few spots in the voting).
The last two positions… well there’s a lot of factors there.
My prediction right now is Snap Boogie takes fourth, and the JC is between Steven Retchless and Landon Swank, with Sharon and Howie choosing Retchless.
The Kinetic King is a BIG wild card. I don’t know how much support he really has… but when his contraption worked he made it through. So the question is, can he amaze America yet again?
Gymkana are a wild card too. Can they bring out something different, or will it end up being more of the same?
If we end up with say, The Kinetic King vs Steven Retchless, I think Howie and Piers will go for the Kinetic King… and if its Gymkana vs Retchless, then well, I don’t know.
We shall see what happens this week!
my pick for the week is Silhouettes in the top spot (as long as the judges do not say “they did not step it up”)

this is very tough to pre judge thoughbecause the acts are very different but all at the same talent level if they even have one slight mishap at this point it is all over
I’m not going to pick a top five, because then I know I’ll just end up disappointed. However!
Steven Retchless – He is talented in some ways, but pole dancing would be more appropriate for a club in Vegas, not a casino stage. Also, couldn’t he do it just as well without those horrifying short shorts? Ick.
Fatally Unique – After tonight, they don’t really have a right to the second half of that name. Seems to me like they’re biting West Springfield’s style now that they’ve seen that can get a spot in the finals.
Kinetic King – Whoo hoo!
