PROTEST11 I must strongly protest the unfair way you rigged the semi-finals to have Prince Poppycock displayed with an entire production company performing with him to grossly distort the Poppycock performance.
The show is supposed to be based on performance of the performers – not an entire production company.
I have been a loyal viewer for years and will continue to do so – inspite of your very unfair way you fraudently rigged the Poppycock performance.

Do you want to handle the crazy person yourself, John, or should one of us do it?

    3. # John commented on September 9th, 2010:

lol…people are entitled to their opinion (crazy or not). It is off to say the show is rigged. I prefer the word “produced.” They definitely produce it. Although, when I was interviewing the top 10, I was amazed at how much effort they made to make sure each of the top 10 got exposure. I was impressed.

I am surprised how many people don’t like Prince Poppycock. I guess I was right when I said that he was a polarizing figure: http://www.pureamericasgottalent.com/2010/09/08/americas-got-talent-2010-top-4-thoughts/

Rigged?! The supporting cast in PRINCE POPPYCOCK’s performances were no different than the back up singers and dancers in Grimm’s and Jackie’s acts. Besides, PRINCE POPPYCOCK’s crew — the way they dress, dance, and perform were borne out of the PRINCE’s creative mind, which is a genius talent in itself. The Prince finances his own act. If others want to perform as well as he does, they would need to channel their inner Poppycock.

If you were honestly interested in Poppycock’s act, you would also know through interviews that every act on the show is provided backups (singers, dancers, etc…). In an article I read, he had additional people he knew who volunteered to assist in his show on stage. Apparently that is permitted by every contestant. If they do not choose to use the provided backup or their own, that is of no fault but their own. Don’t blame Poppycock or AGT for that. These contestants make their shows what they are. Don’t invest any money or time, your show will be blah. I love Poppycock’s performances! He chooses not to just stand their singing with his hands at his sides. And I salute him for that!

My calling him crazy wasn’t so much for his misguided opinion, but rather this:

“I have been a loyal viewer for years and will continue to do so – inspite of your very unfair way you fraudently rigged the Poppycock performance.”

Like someone here is in charge of the show’s production.

Sadly this is a common thing even though at the top it quite clearly states that this is “AN AMERICA’S GOT TALENT FAN SITE” It’s even clearer on my contact us page where in big bold letters it says:
“*This is just a fan site. The official America’s Got Talent website is: http://www.nbc.com/americas-got-talent/

Yet people continue to ignore it. I’m just a fan with a cool site;-)

That said, I know the producers have been to this site a ton of times checking out my content and reading comments. They’ve even answered people’s questions on other threads on occasion. The good part for me is that there really aren’t many other AGT sites around.

      Don’t sell yourself short, John.

You are the BEST fansite. IMNSHO.

      Multi-tasking isn’t my forte, today.

I might just be a fan site too. I’ll ask my wife and she probably would agree with that.

Little Jackie is a “Star and a “God Send” from Heaven just like all children. I have never heard anyone including an adult sing so joyous, with flow and absolutly amazing voice out of this WORLD!
Her talent for her age and the way she is so polite and her up-bringing, I am speechless. Little Jackie is 10 yrs. old with a voice of an adult that brought tears and joy to my heart. I never cared much about Opera until I heard her voice and can’t wait to buy her Records and hopefully she will sing in Florida. Hands down, little Jackie is a Star and she will win. I pray instead of parents hurting their children or giving them up instead give the love her parents gave and let her live her DREAM!

      God Bless Jackie!
      A STAR IS BORN!!!

Hoppycock lost. Catering to the “bundle of twigs” demo is finally over with. Michael Grimm in Vegas will be like “Michael who?”
