America’s Got Talent 5: “Final” Group of Twelve

Here is the final group of twelve. The reason that final is in quotes is because there is the issue of the YouTube auditions and the winner of the YouTube auditions would be announced on August 10th which begs the question… are they going to go straight to the next round? Or is there going to be some kind of wild card show? All speculation aside…. Who of the final group of twelve would you want to move on to the next round?

There were so many great acts tonight, I honestly wouldn’t mind seeing any of them again.
At least considering that no one in their right mind would vote for Mary Ellen. She’s not worthy of that name (long story).
who voted for mary ellen? i don’t know why she’s even there, she’s a bad yodeler and bad keyboardist and has no concept of time. doogie was hilarious this time.
It’s weird in the beginning of the show it seemed like all the acts were going to be horrible, but the last six or so were all good. My faves were the ballroom dancers and the acrobat guy (mainly because I screamed really loudly at the end). Doogie I though was only okay but way better than his first audition. The magician was better as well but I think someone else did a similar trick a few years back. My second two picks would be Prince Poppycock and Arcattack, though I think Taylor will probably get through since he’s gotten so much screen time. He’s been good in the past, though last night was really rough for him.
I VOTED FOR MARY ELLEN. NOT BECAUSE I WANT HER TO WIN BUT BECAUSE I HAVE A HEART AND IT TELLS ME THAT SHE WANTS THIS BADLY. i BLAME THE PRODUCERS FOR PUTTING HER T HROUGH WHEN THEY KNEW SHE WOULD BE MADE FUN OF…. SHE WOULD BE FUN TO SEE IN THE TOUR AND WOULD ADD A LITTLE SOMETHING. NOT SURE WHAT BUT I KNOW IT WOULD MAKE AN OLD LADY HAPPY AND MAYBE TEACH THE PRODUCERS TO WATCH WHAT THEY PUT THROUGH. i CAN NOT SEE BREAKING HER HEART FOR SOMETHING FREMANTLE DID AS A SICK JOKE. IT WOULD GIVE HER A LITTLE MONEY AND MAKE HER HAPPY.
I like the Hip Hop violinist. She’s just so cute.
I thought the magician was terrible. It was a trick he’d never done before because it wasn’t really his trick (my guess). I bet the show just paid some other real magician to teach him how to do it. His ferrari trick in Las Vegas was even worse!

No doubt the show did Mary Ellen a real disservice by putting her through. They made her think she was better than she was and that meant that someone else with a lot more talent didn’t get to go to Hollywood. However, just because they screwed up doesn’t mean they should screw up again and put her through. Luckily, I’m quite sure America won’t put her through. She was a terrible singer, she missed all sorts of notes, forgot the words, etc etc etc. That’s not talent.
You should be a judge on the show, John. They’re prejudiced against magicians, too
I do agree that the violinist is cute, but that’s not enough for a talent competition.
Personally, I think they need to fire all 3 judges also
nick cannon,and rehire jerry springer to host & let America do ALL the voting by text phone or online because it iscalled Americas got talent
