Quite a few people have been asking me questions about the music for America’s Got Talent season 5. Unfortunately, the PR people for the show haven’t sent me the music this year. Luckily, Marianya is the human juke box and so she’s working to put together a list of music that was used on America’s Got Talent 2010. She’s hoping to post it this weekend.

While Marianya is great, feel free to leave a comment if you know some of the music that was used on America’s Got Talent season 5. Any help is greatly appreciated.

Also, you can watch for Marianya’s AGT music post here or subscribe to the Pure America’s Got Talent email.

If you can name the song used before Chips Cooney, it’s a string piece, I would REALLY appreciate it!

      Hi ilze,
That’s great to hear. I’ll be posting about you shortly to get you some votes. I want someone from this site to win;-)

Danyavaad played the Rolling Stones song “Paint It Black”, which the Shimmy Sisters danced to and the crowd went wild over. However, the AGT producers
decided to over dub the song with a Black Eyed Peas
song that I do not know the name off. Why AGT did
this is still a mystery to me.

      Chris,
They often can’t get the rights to the music for the show. Either the artist doesn’t want it used, the company doesn’t want it used. They don’t want the small clip, they only allow the full song, etc etc etc.

I know who Sharon Osbourne is from her Husbands music from the 70′s till now which I grew up on, so she has probably seen lots of talent over the years, and Howie Mandel started out in a contest similiar to this one and has gone on to do almost everything very well and maybe he also sang I don’t know. I do remember his hand bag and him blowing up a rubber glove with his nose and his little voices. So he also would know talent. But tell me how does an editor of a nickle rag from England, you know the ones you would not be caught dead with but read while your waiting for your turn to put your groceries through the till. Where did he get his experience from beside chasing talent with a camera.
