Here we go… the last set of “nameless acts” for the Chicago auditions. This set comes from the Wednesday evening taping after intermission. If anyone out there happens to have more information about the acts in these posts, please do not hesitate to contact us or leave a comment in the post.

Again, as a quick reminder, that these posts only cover acts that graced the Chicago Theatre stage on the evening tapings of Tuesday and Wednesday.

Wednesday Evening’s Taping (POSSIBLE SPOILERS):

1) Elvis Impersonator

A lot of impersonators have come and gone on the show, a good number of them tried to impersonate Elvis, however, only one broke the mold and that was because he impersonated the Elvis of the early days, rather than the later days that everyone else seems to want to do.

The judges agree that if he focused on simply singing rather impersonating he could go a long way, but would that change of pace help him to Vegas? Or would he have to prove himself another time when he changes his act?

2) Bellydancers

A pair of friends whose specialty is bellydancing. Together they were perfectly synchronized. Both in their 30s you can tell that they are very talented in what they do. Sensuality and sexuality can only take you so far in this competition, would they be the ones to break the mold?

3) Crooner

He’s forty but he doesn’t look it. His eldest is in his mid-twenties and he’s a carpenter in Michigan. His voice velvety soft when he sings, yet you can hear a little bit of tension and apprehension at the beginning of his act.

The judges all agree that he started off tense and when he loosened up he completely enraptured the audience with his voice. But did he captured the attention of the judges too?

4) Tom the Singing Surfer

This was a man that wanted to create music videos that would turn people on. He has been invited to dance with the cheerleaders of his hometown as the halftime entertainment, his coworkers have encouraged his dancing. And he’s single!

So on stage is a strange set of contraptions that is suppose to represent him surfing on the sea… Except his act seemed to fall flat as everyone was distracted by his heavy breathing…

Would the judges over look the breathing and send something so unique and strange through?

5) Sneeze Guy

Ok, I said the above the strange, I lied… Here’s a guy that claims that he could sneeze a Q-Tip from his nose to far distances. Piers and Sharon encouraged him to sneeze a Q-Tip towards Howie’s general direction.

Howie was so disgusted that he buzzed right away and walked out of the auditorium… with the guy still claiming he could reach Howie, however he couldn’t get his sneeze on… whether it was nerves or stress or trying to impress. The question is though, is this an act suitable for America’s Got Talent or for the Guinness Book of Records?
