Wrong, John, or should I say Half Right....With Drew it IS the looks, but poor Kevin doesn't have "the look", but he's just lovable. It's totally about the personality.

In any event, you're right that I like them for all the wrong reasons when it comes to the show/talent part of it though!!!!! I don't think Drew has enough talent to deserve the win, but I'd sure like to watch him for another week while I have the chance!!! LOL

Now that I think about it, I think there WAS a kid's talent show several years back and the tears when they were voted off were unbearable to watch. I think it was a kid version of American Idol. Something like that, but it was just awful in that the children took it hard when they lost week after week. I don't think it would work afterall.

Hi John and StevieCat:

I like Drew, I think he's a babe, but it seems like singing doesn't come easily to him... like he's wrestling with the songs or something.
At least Sharon didn't ask him to take his shirt off, which she did with Recycled Percussion. Isn't Ozzy giving her dinner at home? She seems to be looking at a lot of steakhouse menus lately.

I also agree that Lawrence Beaman did an excellent job. I would love to hear his version of Larry Graham's "One in a Million Chance of a Lifetime." He has talent and humility as well, and I'm glad he had the gumption to escape from his cult. I was glad he did the vocal "acrobatics." It shows he can do them and he's not just a "one trick pony" baritone.

Hairo Torres is my favorite. He's fun to watch, and he's cute. And besides, they've sent all the other fun dancers packing (Arcadian, the Bollywood people).

I like Jeffrey Ou, but I think Piers may have been right about him missing a bunch of notes, 'cause I didn't really recognize the song he was playing. I didn't like his hairdo, though... after his act was over he just stood there and it looked a little silly.

I totally agree with you guys on Mario and Jenny. I know they want this but their act doesn't play anywhere BUT Las Vegas.... so why doesn't one of the casinos just go ahead and sign them? Again, they seem like very nice people but I have never been that fond of their act. I am also not particularly fond of Recycled Percussion. Again, seem like nice guys, but their act just doesn't do it for me.

My predictions for the picks tonight are: Barbara Padilla, Hairo Torres, Lawrence Beaman, the EriAm sisters (I would prefer Erik and Rickie, though, I thought their dance last night was cute, and I liked how their costumes matched the song) and Recycled Percussion (although I would prefer if FootworKingz got another chance to redeem themselves).

I guess we know why StevieCat likes Drew and Kevin. It's all about the looks. Good to know this up front. I can't say I don't do the opposite. I still love Alizma...lol

Now, about the others.....

I really can't stand opera, so I don't care about Padilla anymore. She's pretty and she's sweet and she's a wonderful soprano, but I don't want to hear her anymore.

Erik & Rickie need to go home as does Jeffrey Ou.

And, yes, I agree with you about FootworKingz. I said it last night, their being from the mean streets of Chicago--NO WAY they chose to be powerrangers!!! Nice going producers. you should all lose your jobs for ruining some really good acts.

I totally disagreed with the judges re Lawrence Beaman. That song was totally wonderful. I was so tired of the old man stuff he'd been singing. This was fresh and modern and Sharon was so wrong about the way he sang it. She just didn't get it and neither did Piers.

I thought Hairo Torrez rocked and hope he makes it through.

Mario and Jenny - What the Hell ?????? I kept waiting for their routine to start and realized there was none. Again I say What the Hell ???? She danced, he drummed, and then lit a drum on fire and balanced it on his nose or something. ugh.

The sisters disappointed and the percussion guys were entertaining.

And like I said before, Drew....aaaaahhhhh!!!! LOL
