Hi I really would like to know what piece of music was playing near the beginning of Episode 411. It played AFTER the show intro and when the plane carrying the judges was rolling to the hanger, and when David Hasslehoff is explaining the cut for the contestants. It was orchestral. It’s very powerful music and I have heard it before, I just cannot remember where… can you help? I don’t believe you listed it among the songs for Episode 411.. Thank you!
k c,
Can you find a clip of the song you’re talking about on YouTube?
I’m pretty sure the above list of music is all of the songs used on this episode of the show. I say so mostly because I was able to get the list from the show. Might be just figuring out which one is which.
John
No, my computer is a bit old and no longer Youtube friendly.. but the NBC America’s Got Talent webpage has the entire show (Episode 411) under the Episode Guide tab. The song begins precisely where I said before (don’t worry, you wouldn’t have to watch far into the show to hear it). The music begins AFTER the AGT signature music/graphics ‘extravaganza’.. @ 4:02 and continues to 6:15. As the LearJet is taxiing towards the hanger and as “The ‘Hoff” and “posse”f begins talking to the 4 groups of contestants, telling them some of them will be eliminated… It has some choral elements which give way to a building synth-brass section.. I appreciate all due diligence in your assistance in finding this song title and composer!
Hey John
I guess by the lack of response from my last inquiry, you either haven’t pinned it down or haven’t had time. I would still like to know what song it was.. thanks!
k c,
Sorry about the no response. I haven’t been able to figure it out either. I was hoping that one of my other readers would read this also and might be able to answer you.
I’m looking for this also. Do you know anybody on the AGT production staff who could clue us in? I got the clip here: http://cosmicthings.com/hosting/files/get/lyKETlwFhr/agtvegas1-background.mp3
Jamie,
I actually got this list from AGT. If it’s not on this list, maybe it’s a different episode. You can find the episodes they’ve sent me: https://pureamericasgottalent.com/tag/agt-music/
Did you listen to that music I posted? That’s not an actual song- that’s a score. Music for productions. If you could ask your AGT contact if he could do some digging? I would appreciate it.
Jamie,
It’s a score, but in their parlance they call it a Music Bed. Have you checked out all of the music beds listed above?
Unfortunately, my contact is a PR person and it took some doing to get them to send me the list above. Plus, I have 2 other requests that she’s working on. So, I don’t want to overburden her until those requests are done.
Yes. This isn’t even a music bed, as you can hear. It’s like during the introduction, with that music that sort of has that choir. You know that? I think it’s that kind of music, the kind that wouldn’t be on normal music lists. Well, if you get a chance to ask your Pr lady, let me know.

Anyone know the music playing for te first 2 minutes whilst it shows you what happened last week and whose competing this week? Would really like to know the name of it. Thanks
hey, I’ve been looking for this orchestral soundtrack for ever, it’s the intro music at the beggining of a season 4 episodes as the narrator introduces Nick Canon, it’s very familiar, I’ve also seen some you tube videos with it, just kind of epic sounding music
oy vey…
the music i am referring to is NOT the soundclip Jamie above posted, but, if I remember correctly, it directly follows the soundclip that Jamie posted.. again, it is heard when the LEAR JET approaches the hanger where all the contestants are standing… everybody has heard it, but no one seems to know where it is from.. frustrating.. very.. and oh.. I know everyone has different tastes, but really? The chicken catcher won?? Really, really?? Guess I wont waste my time next season watching it.. very disappointed…
k c,
I agree about being sad that America voted the chicken catcher as the winner. Sure, he’s a great guy, but not a very good singer.
I’m giving them one more season. There are aberrations and I’m hoping this season was one of them.
hey didnt anyone ever figure out what that songs name was that played in the background while the hoff was talking inside the hanger , love that piece of music
