Welcome to Pure America’s Got Talent

Only 2 more days until the premiere of America’s Got Talent 2009. I really can’t wait. I love that show. I’m a little upset that they put part of it at the same time as So You Think You Can Dance, but we’ll figure it all out.

Since the TV shows on tonight weren’t worth much, I was looking back at some old videos from previous seasons of America’s Got Talent. I of course had to look up the first person I ever loved on America’s Got Talent, Julienne Irwin (ok, I did really love this Harmonica Boy -The Millers in season 1). I’ve written quite a few times about Julienne Irwin if you want to see what she’s done sense the show.

Well, in my search of past Julienne Irwin videos, I remembered that Julienne was lucky enough to be able to perform with Taylor Swift on America’s Got Talent. This was well before we started seeing Taylor Swift everywhere. What an experience this must have been for Julienne. The crazy thing is that I like Julienne’s voice as much or more than Taylor Swift’s. Of course, Taylor does probably write better songs. Anyway, all of this said, I really enjoyed this look back at Julienne Irwin and Taylor Swift on America’s Got Talent singing “Teardrops on My Guitar”
