Flawless Semi Final Performance on Britain’s Got Talent 2009

I must admit that I wasn’t all that happy to see another dance group as a finalist on Britain’s Got Talent. Don’t get me wrong, Flawless was pretty good. They were precise and did some ok tricks. However, their tricks weren’t over the top special. Diversity wasn’t all that much better than Flawless, but Diversity was much more entertaining than Flawless.

Either way, Flawless and Diversity are both in the finals and they’ll both be fun to watch. Maybe they should just do one really cool dance off where they battle to see who wins. All of that said, I’d be surprised if either of these dance groups wins the show. One of the singers is going to probably get all the votes and win.

From what I can tell, it seems like Flawless used the following music as part of their BGT semi final performance: Beggin’ by Mad’con Madcon - Beggin' - Single - Beggin', The A – Team Tune Various Artists - 100 Greatest TV Themes (Re-Recorded Versions) - The A-Team

To the guy writing the article it seems to me that you don’t have enough respect for what the 2 dance groups are doing the skill required not just physical is immense and frankly id like to see you try and pull off anything remotely up to their standard.

Maybe you’re right. I don’t have enough respect for what they’re doing since I’ve since so many groups do something similar in my life. Especially when we’re talking about Flawless. Diversity does have some comedy along with their dancing that does set them apart. However, they are still below the standard of group dancing I’ve seen.

With that said, I understand it takes great physical skill and practice to get it synchronized. I never discounted their skill. I just said their tricks weren’t special. They did things I’d seen hundreds of times.

Plus, I always love when people try to make it personal and ask me to do it. I’m not the one on the show. I’m not the one that’s being judged. It’s not just dancing that I couldn’t do, but also singing, playing an instrument, or any other of the variety acts that have been on there. Regardless, my skill in the act isn’t relevant. My opinions reflect the standard I’ve seen previously and Flawless was fun and entertaining, but nothing special.

sorry dude but flawless are actually IDO world champions, i don’t know if your american or english, but the USA didnt even make the top 3.

IDO world champions? Who actually showed up for the competition? Was Diversity there? Did any of the good American groups go?

Plus, I’m not judging the technical ability of them. I’m giving extra emphasis to the entertainment value of that performance. That’s what BGT is all about and Flawless wasn’t anything special. I’d still enjoy watching Flawless if I ever had the opportunity. I just want to see Diversity more.

      stefan,
Looks like Britain agrees with me. Although I must admit that Flawless did perform at a much higher level in the finals than they did in previous performances.
