The America’s Got Talent 2009 Lull Before the Storm
Man does time fly when you take a week off to spoil your wife.
Well, you’ve probably noticed by my lack of posting that there hasn’t been as much action in regards to America’s Got Talent lately. No worries. This usually happens before a new season of the show. The show tries to lock down the information as much as possible. For some reason they don’t like information to be leaked out and ruin the suspense of the show.
All of that said, I’m still here and will be posting more regularly as we get closer to the premiere of America’s Got Talent Season 4. You can count on that one. Lately I’ve just been spending more of my time on Dancing with the Stars since the show is currently in season.
One side note is that when I was going to work the other day, I noticed a sign for the show Menopause playing in Las Vegas. In the corner of the billboard it said that Queen Emily from America’s Got Talent would be performing at the show. It almost sounded like Queen Emily was part of the show. I’m not sure exactly. I tried to contact the PR person for Menopause so I could learn more, but I’ve gotten no response. I think I might not get a response since I heard that Menopause is shutting down in Las Vegas. Probably due to the rough economy.
Anyway, there’s my short update. Watch for more regular updates as I get more information. Also, some flashbacks to some of the best and worst America’s Got Talent performances.

Gloria,
Patience is best. And not using all CAPS is best as well.
In past auditions the producers haven’t sent it out until a few days before the auditions. Regardless of whether you get a letter or not, check out the official AGT page for Seattle and go to the auditions: http://americasgottalentauditions.com/new/seattle
It’s an open casting so even if you just show up, they’ll let you in.
Re Queen Emily and Menopause The Musical: This is just to let you know that Queen Emily is starring in Menopause The Musical at the Luxor. The show opened on May 26, 2009, to a full house, and I found it to be of Broadway quality and Very Entertaining. Queen Emily rocks the house! People were clapping and screaming, especially me! In my opinion, the show is perfectly cast and Wonderful. As far as I know, the show will be at the Luxor for three months. Some newspapers, including last Sunday’s L.A. Times, indicate that Las Vegas’ Menopause The Musical was still at the Las Vegas Hilton, I’m sure inadvertently. It’s at the Luxor. Thanks in advance for posting my comment.
Sheila,
I saw the sign that Menopause was back with Queen Emily. I’ve been trying to contact one of the PR people for the show or Queen Emily, but haven’t heard back from them. I’d love to go and check it out. Push comes to shove, my wife has had Menopause on her list of gifts for a while. Thanks for sharing. I’ve been meaning to do a post on the subject and now I can use your review in the post;-)
