Tre',
One of our commenters said that for the first audition it's acapella (see http://www.pureamericasgottalent.com/2009/01/08/more-info-on-americas-got-talent-season-4-auditions/ ). Although, as you can read above it's possible you will do more than one audition on your scheduled day. So, not a bad idea to be able to do both if needed, but you'll be doing acapella at first.

There's a lot more information to help you on the official AGT Audition FAQ: http://americasgottalentauditions.com/new/faq

I hope this helps and let us know how your audition goes.

I'll be auditioning in Boston in a few weeks. As a vocalist, what would I expect for the initial audition? Do I bring background music or do you sing acapello? The answer to that question will make things a whole lot easier! The AGT website does not mention any times, either, just the 2 dates. Would love more info, please!
