America’s Got Talent Audition Emails Sent Out Today
Today I received an email from the people at America’s Got Talent. If you don’t get this email in the next couple days, then you probably didn’t register on the America’s Got Talent audition page like you should have been doing.
No one should have any excuse on not being able to submit their talent to the show. You can upload the video, attend an open audition call, submit it on GotCast or even mail it in using snail mail. That should pretty much cover the various options.
If you submit a video, let us know and I’d love to post it to the site for you to get feedback for you.
Here’s the email that I received today from the America’s Got Talent auditions.
Dear Stevie
America’s Got Talent is excited to let you know that we are beginning our 4th season auditions. We are contacting you to make sure that you SAVE THE DATE of January 29th through 31st to come meet us in Los Angeles and strut your stuff! We are eager to see your incredible talent and to possibly get you started on the road to stardom and a cool $1,000,000!
We are confirming receipt of your registration and we will be contacting you shortly to give you location and audition information. Please take a moment to respond to our email with the following information:
1. Two current telephone numbers at which we may reach you the week prior to your audition (to give you any last minute updates or important info).
2. The number of guests that you will be bringing with you to potentially conduct personal interviews and to root for you.Remember to tell all your friends that America’s Got Talent is BACK and coming to a city near you! Cities, dates, venue are subject to change.

MAIL IN AUDITIONS
If you know that you will not be able to travel to one of our audition cities, or, if you want us to get a taste of your act before we meet you in person, you can send us a video of your performance. You will find directions and tips on how to prepare and send in a video on the nbc.com/AGT audition page. We strongly urge you to send us the video by January 17th in order
not to miss our casting tour in your nearest location.Good Luck!
I was just wondering if the video submittals had to be sung acapella, just as you would if you were to attend the live auditions?
My guess is that they’ll take whatever you submit. They didn’t specify the need for a capella for the video submissions. My guess is that they just wanted acapella for the first round so that there was less set up. They want to get through them quicker.
Hopefully Kate will stop by and correct me if I’m wrong.
I asked the casting producer who’s been in touch with us if having the piano on Angelle’s video was okay, and she said it was fine. The mail in auditions can have accompaniment, but when you audition in person it must be a cappella.
I am now worried as I have not recieved an email responding to my registration for America’s Got Talent. I registered probably three times just to make sure, as I never recieved a response to my registration online @ the NBC site. I have searched online for the last two months trying to find more information. Do you know if everybody that registered has been contacted?
tim,
Are you in the LA area? I’m pretty sure that they’ve only sent out the ones for the LA area since that’s the only audition information they’ve announced officially. Plus, even if you’re in the LA area, I think they’re still sending some emails out for those auditions as well.
Also, I believe they said that you can just show up for the auditions and if they have room they’ll let you in. Of course, this then hopes that they have space. For example, I got the email, but won’t be going to the auditions. I wonder how many other people are like myself.
As a fail safe, you can upload a video of your audition. They promised that they’d be looking at all the videos that are submitted on the America’s Got Talent Audition site.
Thank you John for responding. I am in the Sacramento area and to see that L.A. area was the first to receive the emails has made me feel much better. Either way myself and friends are arriving Wednesday evening and I am ready to sing.
Again, thank you John for your responding so quickly.
Tim Jackson, watch for me, hope you see me on stage along with so many other talented American’s.
Thanks for coming back tim. I hope you do well and win it all. Just remember us little guys if you make it on the show. Come back for an interview or something when you’re all rich and famous.
i have pre registered for seattle auditions april 25 and 26 but i have no yet seen a posting of whre the suditions will be held and have no e mail asyet on confirmation
Gloria,
First, I should say this is not the official AGT audition website. This is just a fan site. The official site is: http://americasgottalentauditions.com/new/
However, for other cities they haven’t sent out emails until even a few days before the auditions. If you watch the official AGT seattle audition page they’ll usually post when emails have been sent along with location information. You can find that page: http://americasgottalentauditions.com/new/seattle
Don’t stress, that’s still more than a month away and I’m sure the producers are super busy in NY right now.
Thanks for stopping by and I hope you’ll return to this fan site as the season progresses.
i cant wait me and my friend would be singing but there no way i can go ther so i will sending you a video thank you
