America’s Got Talent 2009 Auditions

A ton of people have requested information on when the next season of America’s Got Talent will be having auditions. We still don’t know specific dates, but America’s Got Talent did send out the following email about the locations for auditions.
We are so excited you are interested in auditioning for NBC’s America’s Got Talent! You have taken the first step to becoming our next million-dollar winner and America’s next big star! This season, we plan on making it bigger and better than ever before. We encourage everyone, any age, with any talent to come participate and strut their stuff!
We are looking for the most unique, unusual, outstanding, incredible talent we can find across America. We are currently scheduled to visit one of the following cities early in 2009:
Atlanta, Georgia
Austin, Texas
Boston, Massachusetts
Chicago, Illinois
Los Angeles, California
Miami, Florida
New York City, New York
Seattle, Washington
Washington, DCSince you have already registered you can log on to NBC.com/agt for the most current information. You do not need to register again, just start preparing to come show us why your talent may be worth $1,000,000.
Please check this email account and NBC.com/agt regularly for America’s Got Talent updates, including audition city dates, locations and times, special events. Remember to tell all your friends America’s Got Talent is back and coming to a city near you! Cities, dates, venue are subject to change.

i need dates on the chicago,IL auditions
Hey tatum hoopingarner,
The Chicago auditions look to be set for March 1ST-2ND, but they haven’t announced a location yet so don’t be surprised if those dates change depending on how well the show can secure a location. Just make sure you sign up on the official AGT Auditions website and they should email you with all the details for the Chicago auditions.

i had auditioned already and just wondering on how to find out if we get emails or calls if we made it or not
Hey Brittany, those that have auditioned and the official website says that you’ll only get a call if you’ve made it. If you haven’t made it, then you won’t hear from them. Kind of sucks, but you can imagine with the number of auditions they’ve received it would be hard to notify everyone.
If we haven’t heard anythi ng by April 9,2009,can we audition again?

Remember this is just a fan site. Although, I’ve seen posted multiple times that you’re welcome to audition as many times as you’d like regardless of whether you’ve heard or not. Granted, if you’ve heard you made it, you wouldn’t need to audition again.

If AGT did not call you within 24 gours. That probably mean that you did not selected. How soon can I audition again? Can I audition again on AGT in a different city?

Only the producers of the show know if they are done calling people back and this is just a fan site. However, I’d say as a fan that 24 hours seems a little short for receiving a call back. I’m not sure they would work that fast, but in some cases they may have to make those type of quick decisions.
I do know that a number of people have auditioned multiple times. There is one audition stop left in Houston on May 9th-10th. You could still head down there and audition again. I’m just not sure how much better chance you’ll have. Although it is sometimes a good storyline that producers like if you’re an on the fence talent.

You can’t really be serious. The producers of the show have gone to enormous lengths to try and accommodate all those that wanted to audition. They had a video upload option that could apply to anyone anywhere.
